I have tutoring experience at both the elementary and middle school levels. Specifically, I have had experience working with students in grades K, 2, and 8. I will be doing my final internship in the Fall in a 5th grade classroom. I have also had experience tutoring ESL students. I have had two internships (each a semester in length) and have tutored at a middle school as well as local community center. I find tutoring to be very rewarding and love working one-on-one with a student, getting to know their strengths & weaknesses and building off of them. I am a very good student myself (I have a 4.0) so I have pretty high expectations, but never unattainable or frustrating for the student. I am especially partial to elementary students as that is my major and I have a strong affinity for reading in particular. Hope to hear from you!
